Engineering that connects knowledge and practice
Jorge Armando Ramos Frutos holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and works as a researcher in artificial intelligence and optimization. His research applies metaheuristics and machine learning to solve complex engineering problems, improving efficiency and adaptability in various systems.
He has worked on image analysis, multilevel thresholding segmentation using entropy-based techniques, and the optimization of statistical models. He has published in high-impact international journals, with applications in energy, advanced manufacturing, and other industrial fields.
